Show 831 on Good Hose Bar for mining purposes. Exhibit No. 258 is an extension of Exhibit No. 257, and shows the water wheel and flume. Exhibit No. 259 is somewhere in Glen Canyon, between Dandy Crossing and Lee's Ferry. R. 1973. Exhibit No. 260 shows the mouth of Paria Creek, at Lee's Ferry, and also the John D. Lee stone fort, on the Colorado River. Exhibit No. 261 shows the Johnson ranch at Lee's Ferry, Paria Creek is shown in the foreground, and is where they got their water for irrigation. Exhibit No. 262 shows fruits and vegetables grown on the Warren Johnson farm, at Lee's Ferry. Recross Examination:( R. Vol. 11, pp. 1974 - 1977.) " BY MR. FARNSWORTH: " Q. Just one question. Calling your attention to Exhibit No. 222, this pier was there at Greenriver when you arrived there? " A. That is a ferry boat. " Q. That is the boat itself? " A. That is the ferry boat; here ( indicating) is the cable. " Q. That ferry boat was there in operation when you arrived there? " A. Yes, sir."
