It was taken from the rim, looking down. Exhibit No. 243 shows rapid No 36. in Cataract Canyon. The boat No. 2 is in the rapid. Exhibit No. 244 shows rapid No. 35 in Cataract Canyon. Exhibit No. 245 shows D. Julian's Point in Cataract Canyon. R. 1967. The " D. Julian" inscription appears on the right side of the picture, as you look at it, at about three- quarters of an inch up form the water. It might be submerged at high water.
