Show Reservation, approximately in Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, Tow__nship four (h) South, Range seven (7) East, in Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, Ik, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 21;, Township four (U) South, Raige six (6) East, in Sections 1, 2, 3, Township four (I;) South, Range five (5>) East, in Sections 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 3k, 35, 36, Township two (2) South, Range five (5) East, in Sections 13, Ik, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 2k, &, 26, 27, 28, 29, 33, 3U, 35, 36, Township three (3) South, Range four (Ij.) East, in Sections 13, Ik, 23, 2k, Township three (3) South, Range three (3) East, of the Gila and Salt River Bast and Meridian, and that I intend, in my official capacity as aforesaid, for the use and purpose aforesaid, to build and maintain a dam in the said Gila River at the place aforesaid, and at which point this notice is posted, to divert the water thereof, and that I jh-intend to clean out and widen the aforesaid Little Gila River at its point of intersection with the Gila River proper, and to construct headgates at this point, and to use the aforesaid Little Gila River as a main canal, to conduct the water in a northwesterly direction, to the different canals heading on the Little Gila River, at the different villages hereinafter described, to-wit: The Sacaton Plats Canal, constructed in 1880, which heads in the Little Gila River at a point in the N. W. £ of Section 28, T. k S. R. 7 E; The Yaqui Canal constructed in 1882, which heads in the Little Gila River at the same point as the Sacaton Plats Canal; the Cottonwood Canal, constructed in 1882 which heads in the Little Gila River at a point in the N. W. £ of Section 19, T. k S. R. 7 E; the Pima Indian School Farm Canal constructed in 1903 which heads in the Little Gila River at a point about the center of Section Ik, T. k S. R. 6 E; the Casa Blanca, Stotonek, Babschul, Sweetwater, Wet Camp and Railroad Crossing Canal which was constructed before 1869, which heads at a point in the Little Gila River in the N. E. -J- of Section 1, Township k S. R. 5 E., and to construct and maintain other canals heading on the Little Gila River aforesaid at points, wherever feasible, to irrigate certain |
