Aug, 25th, 1903 <br><br> My dear Mr. Sweazey: <br><br> It seems about the same as settled that (^ if you are willing,) you are to take Mr. Caskey's place as Principal of the Collegiate Institute, I was conferring with Dr. McAfee about it yesterday. You know he is the Supt. of School Work for the Home Mission Board. He forwarded Mr. Caskey's resignation to the board yesterday, (^ and heartily) recommended your appointment as Principal. I suppose you will hear from Dr. Thompson, the Secretary of the Board, by letter or telegram, as soon as he receives Dr. McAfee's letter, Mr. Caskey receives a salary of $1400, and I suppose your salary will be the same.
