D. <br> Salt Lake City, Utah. <br> 1136 Blaine Ave. Aug. 22nd, 1903 <br><br> My dear Mr. Sweazey: <br><br> We had our College Trustees meeting on Thursday, and the question of your taking the Principalship [sic] of the Institute, in case it should have offered you, was considered. The appointment lies with the House Musician Board in N.Y. While the trustees do not wish to lose you from the College work, they all seemed to think you would be service for you to take Mr. Caskey's place for a year, if the House Musician Board, should desire you to take it. Dr. Miller, the Dept. of the Educational work carried on by the Board, is here attending the Teachers Convention, and Mr. Caskey will conference with him about it.
