doubt the Board would endorse any nomination I would make for the place. I expect to resign as soon as my place can be satisfactorily filled, but outside of yourself there is no one whom I am ready to recommend for the place. <br><br> You know the place pretty well without my saying much about it. The duties are onerous but the opportunities are great and the work gratifying. I can not expect to ever get into anything from which I shall derive so much satisfaction as I have had in this work. It give a man a position in the community which few other place would give him. It may not be exactly in line with your plans for your life work. It would give you a sort of experience that would be immensely valuable to you in any line of college work that you might later devote yourself to. It would not need to be a permanent place with you unless you should choose to make it so. <br><br> When will you return to Salt Lake? Have you made any arrangements for a house? The mate to your last house, across the alley, seems to be for rent. Will Miss Furry come back with you? <br><br> I hope you are all having a pleasant and restful summer.
