Then he spooned more coffee into the pot and mixed up another batch of biscuits, pouring in a half cup of melted lard. These the miners would take with them for their lunch,and the lard would keep the biscuits from drying out. Bill could hear the other men moving around novi in the lean-to. Olaf came in from outside and stood looking doxm at the baby, "lie's a happy kid but when he xgants something and opens that mouth it sure does startle a man. Like that honey taste. Huh?"
