Gary isn't there. According, to the clock, it's after midnight. She remembers that he hasn't been there all day. She had smoked dope, and fallen asleep listening to music. That was an hour ago. The phone rings again. She had been waiting for him to call. She pulls herself out of bed, and makes it as far as the bedroom door before having to support herself against the wall. Her vision goes black, and she thinks she is going to faint. The phone rings again. Whoever it is, they certainly want to talk to her. She fights off the dizziness and gropes to the phone. Grabs the receiver, and throws the rest of the unit onto the sofa. "Hello?" "I woke you up, didn't I?"
