FARNSWORTH: We want to see those. MR. BLACKMAR: You have a list of exhibits, haven't you? MR. FARNSWORTH: Yes, but I haven't them in my mind, at all. I haven't looked them over at all. There may be one or two witnesses here in Los Angeles whom we will want to have look at those things. ( Discussion off the record.) THE SPECIAL MATER: I wish to make a statement here for the purpose of the record. On September 6th, in Washington, I made an informal suggestion that it might be of assistance to have some one testify in the case who was familiar with the rivers as to which the Supreme Court had held specifically in relation to the question of navigability. I wish to withdraw that suggestion and remarks which I made on pages 354 and 355 of volume 2 of the testimony. I have since gone over those cases with greater care, and I am satisfied there is sufficient evidence |
