A We went out to Flagstaff; Mr. Davis and Mr. La Rue and five or six of us went to the Diamond Creek dam site, came out from there, circled around, and went to the Boulder canyon dam site; we came out at the Needles. I went on down to the delta and the gulf on a little jaunt on my own account. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Did this expedition go down through the Grand Canyon? A This expedition disbanded at Lees Ferry. My trip through the Grand Canyon was the following year, with the Geological Survey expedition under Colonel Birdseye; I was boatman on that expedition. CROSS EXAMINATION BY MR.
