A Roughly, my recollection is a moderately high August stage, about ten or twelve thousand second feet; I don't think that would be very far wrong. That could be checked from the record of flows which you have. That is a very rough guess. Q After you reached Hall's Crossing, then what did you do? A We waited there until the other party came in, about a week, very long week, because we had nothing but pineapples left at the end of it, and were living on the pineapples and coffee for three days. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q How long did it take you to get up ho Hall's Crossing A I can not exactly state the day of our arrival. Roughly, I should say twelve days. It is possible one day of that was for a trip we made up to Rainbow bridge, which would give us eleven days navigating. If that is correct, we averaged slightly better |
