This occurred in the month of September. Complainant's Exhibit No. 373 shows " us going up the river." [ BY THE SPECIAL MASTER:] " Q What stage was the water? " A It was very low, there was reefs across there that wasn't four inches deep, because Mr. Miser was a big man, and I wasn't so little, it took about all we had to go up there in two days, seventeen miles. " Q Is that the picture ( indicating)? " A Yes, that is it." R. 2332. He cannot tell what the dark sort of ridge is right behind the rock, as shown on the photograph, but between the edge of the picture and the rock sand is shown. " THE SPECIAL MASTER: That is the picture I was asking about; that is the one I asked Mr. Allen about; he says that is a lagoon of water; left the reflection of the canyon walls in the water.
