Show TENNIS ennis Anyone? With Graduate Manager Parmelee leading the way for the 31st year, the University of Utah tennis team again rolled to victory after victory in the Skyline Conference. Coach Theron S. Parmelee, truly the dean of Intermountain coaches, has sparked Ute teams since 1921. This year's squad started a lively season by blanking Montana, 9-0, twice and knocking over the Cougars from BYU. The '55 Redskins entered Skyline contests with a well-balanced squad. Don Tisdel and Gus Teseros, the main veterans of the team, carried on Ute tradition along with Bob Halbersleben, Ralph Stephens, John Sherman, and Roland Hardy. Tom Brignand and John Doidge, outstanding players from South High School, joined the squad as freshmen. Sam Park and John Ruppel also played frosh ball; and Malcolm Harvey, Bob Schoenhals, John Seeley, David Sorrell, and Byron Vance completed the Ute ranks. Ute tennis team.
