Show the book, and finished the copy for production. Associate editor Carol Lynn Davis supervised the picture appointment staff, paneling of all the individual pictures, and indexing. The book came alive visually as Elaine Ranker combined people and places and ideas and photographers Borge B. Andersen, Gerald Silver, Bob Dean, and others to capture the mood and personality of campus life. Added to this was the work of division editors who assembled copy and pictures, of the copy staff who rewrote and coordinated, of Parm who watched money and mistakes. With a finger in every part of the book and with her car carrying people and proofs to the necessary places, Ceanne Mitchell managed the creation of the Utonian from the idea stage until it was laid in the student's hands.
