Sec. 1, Be it enacted by the Governor and Legisla- '.'â- 'â- "', ';';.";,,. ,tive Assembly of the Territory of Utah:; That all that 1 district of country' in Tooele county, embraced in the following boundaries, to wit: beginning at the south City bnundar- west corner of the Adobie rock, thence east to the base of the mountain; thence north to the. .Great Salt Lake; thence westerly along the Lake shore to the west side of the stream of water known ' by the name of rock springs; thence south east up the west bank of said flams & style stream to the place ot beginning; shall be known and designated as " E. T. city," and the inhabitants thereof are hereby .constituted a body corporate and politic by,the name aforesaid, and shall have perpetual ... succession,'and may have, and use a common seal, â-  :which they may change and alter at pleasure, corporate pow . Sec. 2. The inhabitants of said city by the name and en style aforesaid, shall have power to sue and be sued; to plead and be jmpleaded; to defend and be defended, in all coiirts of ;law and equity, and in all actions whatsoever; to purchase, receive, and hold property, real and personal in said city, and to purchase, receive, and hold real property beyond the city, for burying grounds, or 'â- ;1,...' ; oijher public purposes; for the use of the inhabitants of said city;- to sell, lease, or dispose of property, real and personal, for the benefit of said city; to improve and protect such property, and to do all other things in relation thereto, as natural persons. \ Sec. 3.
