Description 113 districts, and all delinquents so prosecuted shall be liable to pay twice the amount lost by or through his or their neglect. And it is hereby made the duty of the county Court to settle with each supervisor on or before the firstly1* w day of January in each year, and prosecute all delinquentdeiinqueat supervisors, who refuse, or neglect to comply tuth thepeiV280r*" requirements of this act. The supervisors shall receive the sum of one dollar and fifty cents per day, after having defrayed thif1^ own tax, for each days service actually employed on the road and highways in their respective districts, either in notifying the inhabitants to labor, collecting the tax or disbursing the same. Be it enacted by the Governor and Legislative Assembly of the Territory of TJtah^ That a Treasurer andTreasxirci aiid Auditor of public accounts, shall be elected, by the joiDtanditor, }i«^ vote of both houses of the Legislative Assembly ; whose'TermoJ office term of office, shall be four years; and until their successors are elected and qualified. Sec. 2.
