We, the undersigded, sworn interpreters, do hereby oertifr that the agreement sub-mitted oo the 6th day of Maroh 1880, by oertaio Ute ~ndianst,h ed in Washington City to the Secretary of the lntirior, and the amendments made to tho same by Con-gred is the act approved Jooe 15,1880, together with the several prorieious of said act of Coagreaa, mere each and all submitted by the Ute Comnrissiou, and fully ioter-prated and explained in open coc~ncilo o the 21st day of July, 1880, to the bands of the confederated tribe of Ute Indians in Colorado who receive their rations and an-nuities at Lo8 Pinos Agency, and known as the Unoompahgrs IJtes, as well as to cer-tain bauda of White River Ute Indians then on the llncompahgre River, snd who participated in said council; that the eouuril was continued on the 22d and 23d of Joly. l8$0, aud the provisions of said agreement and said law were fully discussed. The oouuoil then adjourned until the 86th of July, when it again convened and the commission bad read and interpreted to said Indians an instrument ratifying said apeeweot, whereupon the Indians took said instrument to a oou~oil of theit. own, with tka noderataodiug that they would meet the oommi~sionema gain iu open coutroil on the 28th of July.
