Sacks ot wheat were placed at the top* middle, and was then filled with wheat and buckled with a leather position at the top of t ne fields I carefulIv sighted a point at the middle and again at the bottom and began step, I reached into the bucket, took a handful of grain and allowed it to sift through my fingers with a sweeping mot ion of the arm, maki ng sure the grain was being again at the bottom of the fields and repeating tins riijirroweo into the ground and furrows made for irrigating. S'ater turns were met faithfully. A rich reward came at harvest time with an excellent crop of wheat. Some was taken to the mill and made into flour. Thankfully, the old bin was filled for another year. 3
