Title Buckskin Gloves
Description with Evan's head and anas hanging down on one side and mine on the other, with our arms around each others legs in order to balance horse's neck because he knew the way hone. It seemed 3 much longer ride home, but riding at a slow gait, we were safely home in a couple of hours. Neither of us had fallen off the horse In spite of our precarious positions, and considering everything, we were not too rauch the worse for wear. However, that evening we did prefer standing to eat supper. The highlight of the whole experience Has to look on Evan's radiant face as he displayed his precious buckskin gloves to the family. The gloves were like the prodigal son. They were lost, now they aere found. Sourcei Recollections of the author. -«-
