Show Peter & Mette Rasmussen Housel Wadsworth Residence 12542 South 900 East This home was built by Alfred Green who may have lived in it for a short while. Peter C. and Mettie Rasmussen purchased it in 1902 from James Paine for $4,000.00. Four ·bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet were upstairs. The banister is the original. Stained glass windows and transoms beautified the home. The dining room was originally the parlor with a marble fireplace~ This fireplace now has a surround rescued by XkE ~~ a previous owner from an old mansion in Salt Lake City that was being razed. Victorian Eclectic style is shown and enhanced by the elegant furnishings and window treatments executed by Mrs. Wadsworth. Ralph L. & Peggy Wadsworth have owned this lovely home going on 20 years. |
