As more and more generations are made, more is added to the algorithm, and more and more images from the image database are shown in the crossbreeds. We could even go so far as to say that we have basically just been making very fancy Punnett squares, and the images found from the database are the phenotypical representation of dominant and recessive traits (found from the database through the algorithm created from each generation).
