Like Art the Product, the Artist, as a concept and as a definition has also become confused and convoluted. The Artist is still considered to be, what is essentially, a maker. The Artist, and his making, are built upon a mythology or a magic that in someway separates an artfully made chair from a chair as a work of Art.
