Abstract	This collection contains bound volumes of minutes of the Board of Regents meetings, including accompanying materials, such as contracts, correspondence, meeting minutes of subordinate committees, and faculty newsletters. The Board of Regents historically served as the governing body of the University of Utah. In 1969 the name was changed to the Institutional Council (the State Board of Higher Education later adopted the name of State Board of Regents). In 1991 the Institutional Council became the current Board of Trustees.

OCR Text	Show MEETING OF THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HELD SEPTEMBER 15, 1925. ﬂinutes of the meeting of the Board of Regents of the University of Utah, held Seytember 14, 1925. There were present Chairmen Snow, Regents Christensen, Carver, Robinson, Carlson, tolfe, McCarthy, wade and Dr. Thomas. Requests for excuse were received from Regent Bolepp who one ill; Regent Crockett who was out of the city. Dr. ThoMas stated that he had received a letter from Mrs. Henchett who is in Europe and else from ﬁre. Rosenbeum who is also in Europe. The following report from the Committee on Finance was presented and on motion of Regent Christensen mes edopted and the bills ordered paid. Board of Regents, University_of Utah. Gentlemen: Your Finance Committe begs leave to report as rt of ace ittee' follows:‘ to have exemined the vouchers Nos. 53535 to 53722, inclusive, also Nos. 55356 and 53579 to 53584 inclueive, drawn for August 1995 accounts, amounting to $29,175.70, and find them supported by proper bills, the receipt of goods duly checked by needs of departments, and their correctness certified to by the Secretary and apyroved by the President, -‘ we "n"~me"* that they be approved for payment.
