Show XI. Acknowledgements The Upper Colorado River Commission wishes to acknowledge the united actions of the Governors of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming on the fundamental issues involved in the development of the water and land resources of the Upper Colorado River Basin, and for their interest in and support of the Upper Colorado River Commission. The Commission especially wishes to give recognition to the difficult and able work of the members of the United States Congress from the Upper Colorado River Basin States and to acknowledge with appreciation the assistance it has received from agencies of the Executive Branch of the Federal Government: the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Geological Survey, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the Department of Agriculture. Officers and personnel of many state agencies having their primary interests in various phases of water resources have also aided materially with cooperative efforts and information. At its Adjourned Regular Meeting on August 16, 1965 the Commission unanimously adopted resolutions of thanks in honor of former Commissioner George D. Clyde of the State of Utah and Eugene J. Van Camp, a former Commissioner for the State of Wyoming. A copy of each of these resolutions follows. 102 |
