Q When you were back there in 1925 were there any other miners in that canyon? A There was another fellow named Carpenter up at Red canyon; whether he was placer mining then or not I can't say. Q You didn't see any other placer miners? A No sir. Q Did you see any boats? A No other boats excepts ours. Q You saw no boats either coming down or going up stream? A No sir. MR.
