Q did you ever touch bottom going up or down through there? A Going up we didn't take the channel, bu going down we went down the channel. THE SPECIAL MASTER: The question was, did you touch bottom. A Yes, usually going up the rapids you stay in where it is slower and easier water; lots of times you go along on the rocks, where is less current.
