In this letter to Robert McNiece, Sheldon Jackson asks for receipts for two checks he and his wife had sent him. The checks were to go towards Mr. McNiece's and Mr. Peyton's salaries. Sheldon Jackson then writes he plans to visit Auburn and seek aid for a college, and that Rev. McCreery is also seeking aid for the college. He then comments he has enclosed a map of the university buildings' location. |
