Show -2-
Preparatort Department.
I had quite a full talk with Mrs. Thaw on Monday afternoon and regret that I did not know where to look for you although I was in no condition to be outside in the rain, as I was suffering from an attack of the grippe complicated with laryngitis. The returns of my tour through Erie Presbytery have not yet been received, but I am quite sure from remarks made, that it will aggregate $1,000.00 to the College; possibly more.
I hope you have found encouragement in your canvass.

Very truly yours,
Sheldon Jackson*
General Agent of Education in Alaska.

* handwritten in the original document

|
