Show Canadian Players Organized only two years ago, the Canadian Players of Stratford, Ontario, Canada, have already established an enviable reputation throughout Canada, and from California to New England in the United States. Salt Lake theatre goers will remember the precision and artistry of both William Shakespeare's "Othello" and George Bernard Shaw's "Man and Suprman," two of the sparkling facets of a brilliant theatre season. In "Othello," Desdemona (Dawn Green-halgh) pleads with Othello (Tony van Bridge) for permission to accompany him on a military expedition to Cyprus. Ann Casson as Ann Whitfield, the logical, modern woman of Shaw's "Man and Superman." John Gardner and Max Helpmann as Hector Malone Sr. and Sr., in one of the wittiest scenes from Shaw's play.
