Show Utonian No one worked harder, or had more fun than UTONIAN staffers. We saw our grades drop, but still most of our concern and time was required in the UTONIAN office. We cooperated with the PEN and CHRONICLE staffs in keeping the Coke machine close to empty all the time. In our fourth floor corner of the old Union, we tried not to get in each other's way; in the new, we were inspired to work even a little harder to produce a top-notch book of an excellent year. From our perch high above the campus, we watched the leaves fall, saw them buried under an early blanket of snow and then watched everything come to life again, all the time wishing the year were closer to its end when our dream of the best yearbook yet would be closer to a reality. Yes, we worked hard-but we feel that our time was well spent. Borge Andersen, amiable Associate Assistant Editor, Jim McEntire, headed Editor, supervised all the photogra- all personnel business with the per- phy in this year's book. He is to be suasive tact and sincere friendliness especially commended for the color required of his position, and for division pages and other unusually which he is noted on campus, fine special effects he was responsible for. Ability and determination are key words from which anyone can readily predict success. When these words are seen as only a part of the long list of leadership qualities possessed by cheerful Ha Anderson, UTONIAN editor, the success-plus of this year's publication was inevitable. The tedious lot of balancing the budget and expediting all UTONIAN's business affairs fell to the capable hands of Tom Bacon, Business Manager, who has also distinguished himself in many other campus activities. 123 |
