Show joJaif, well lived, manes eve/iy a Jfleam oj najifiiness " in We were forever the socially minded, the strictly collegiate, the promoters of friendship, the symbols of every mood typical of college life. We were the Greeks, the representatives of true brotherhood and sisterhood, and we found our growth through association and fun. We met in study halls, at the stadium, the classroom, the Union, the bookstore, and at exchanges and spring formals. Together we laughed, cried, cheered, argued; we partied and even occasionally studied. We participated in Greek Week, got lost in the conglomeration of paper and wood at Homecoming, molded snow for Snow Carnival, and raised our voices with the rest at Songfest. 1 We chose our Dream Girls, Sweethearts, and Kings. We competed every time we had the chance, but we never lost sight of the ideal of fellowship. * We were criticized and debated, but this only made our bonds more firm.
