Show Aftermath of a sharp rebuke, perfected by Anne Culli-more for her role in the University Theatre production. The Judge (Harold Folland) reassures well-meaning Mrs. St. Maugham (Juliet Boynton). Jon Jory as Maitland, the unorthodox butler, confronts Mrs. St. Maugham (Juliet Boynton) and job applicant, Miss Madrigal (Anne Cullimore). A skillfully concise complex of situations, personalities, and emotions, Enid Bagnold's "The Chalk Garden" proved to be both provocative and entertaining. The talented cast, including Harold Folland, Juliet Boynton, Betty Jo Smith, Anne Cullimore, and Jon Jory, all portrayed unique and fascinating characters, with careful insight. Robert Hyde Wilson directed this third major production of the season. Costumes for "The Chalk Garden," as well as for the other University Theatre presentations of the season, were by Sereta T.
