( R. 809) He stopped two days at Ledore, four days at Vernel and Jensen and left Greenriver, Utah, October 19th, 1911. He arrived at the mouth of the Green River October 25th, 1911 and left the mouth of the Green River October 26th. R. 809- 810. " A. Arrived at Lee's Ferry November 6th." ( R. 810) " Q. Mr. Kolb, these rapids which you have spoken of in Olen Canyon, would it be possible to take a boat upstream against those rapids? A. I do not think so. R. 811 ( Objection R. Vol. 5- pp. 811- 818) The second trip down the Green and Grand rivers made by Mr. Kolb was in the interests of the Southern California Edison Company and the United States Geological survey. This expedition started from Greenriver, Utah, September 11, 1921. Mr. Kolb, because of his experience on the river, was hired as boatman. Other members of the party were Wm. R. Chenoewith, topographic engineer; Sic Sidney Page, geologist; K. C. Laruse, hydraulic engineer; Lee Lint, rod man; John Clogeton, commissary cook; Harry Yanker, rod man; Emery C. Kolb, photographer.
