Show should have been obtained with either tabs or spaces but not a mixture of both. The Title should be representative of the manuscript's purposes and findings in order to provide maximum information in computerized title searches. Nonfunctional words should be deleted from the title. Titles should be followed by the authors' full first names, middle initials and last names, and by the addresses of all authors. The name of the author to whom inquiries should be directed must be marked with an asterisk (*). If the asterisked author has an address other than that given in the contribution line, it should be given in a footnote using an asterisk rather than a number designation. Abstracts must accompany all articles, communication, and notes. Abstracts should be on a separate sheet following the title page and be approximately 100 to 150 words in length. It should be presented in a findings-oriented format in which the most important findings and conclusions are summarized. Tables are encouraged when they lead to a more effective presentation of findings. They should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers in order of citation in the text. Footnotes in tables should be given lower case letter designations and cited in the tables as superscripts. Sequence of letters is by line rather than by column. If a reference is cited in both the table and text, insert a lettered footnote inthe table to refer to the reference in the text. Each table must be provided with a descriptive heading which, with column headings, should make the table self-explanatory. Figures should be original drawings, high-contrast photographic copies, or laser prints. Photocopies of original artwork should be attached to all manuscripts. Figures should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers and should appear on separate pages. Legends for figures should appear together as a block. References and notes must be in one consecutive series by alphabetic order. Accuracy of the references is the responsibility of the author. A complete list of references and notes should be typed double spaced on separate pages at the end of the manuscript and follow the format shown. For journals: Jones, J.K., & Hughes, R.L. (1990).
