VIII. DIARY OF THE TIMES OF GEORGE IV. VOLS. THE THIRD AND FOURTH. (Completing the work.) COMPRISING MANY NEW AND INTERESTING LETTERS OF QUEEN CAROLINE, THE PRINCESS CHAit LOTTE, AND OTHER ROYAL OR DISTINGUISHED PERSONS. Subscribers to the first two vols. of this work are advised to give early orders for the concluding volumes, to prevent disappointment • " The immense success of the first two volumes of this extraordinary work naturally led to an expectation of further volumes, and we have now before us the two which conclude the undertaking. The work is evidently authentic, and the public have more to do with its contents than with the propriety or impropriety of Lady--'s publishing them to the world. Certain it is that none of the statements contained in the first two volumes have been successfully contradicted, and Lord BroughaDI's criticisms in the Edinburgh Review have only increased public desire for a continuation of the book. In these volwnes, the most interesting parts are the private letters of the Princess of Wales, and her daughter, t11e Princess Charlotte. The work is exceedingly amusing, and it affords an admirable insight into high life. We refer our readers to the volumes, which, in many parts, are of a by far more serious nature than persons in general may imagine. Whatever may have been her Ladyship's motives for writing this singular work, its production is unquestionably beneficial to the public."-Dispatch. IX, QUEEN ELIZABETH AND HER TIMES.
