Show Don Wilhelmsen Editor-in-Chief Utonian It was back to the mountains last fall as the 1967 Utonian staff took over the New Park Hotel in Park City for a successful workshop. It included bridge games, marsh-mallow roasts, moonlight hikes in the snow and . . . other activities. That was the only time all year that more than thirty staff members were together in the same place at the same time. Since then the paper membership of about 70 eager souls has predictably dwindled to a few photographers, one "office manager," the editorial and business staffs, the section editors and eight or ten faithful helpers. Throughout the year inexperienced staffers learned - and promptly forgot - many little details of yearbook work taught to us by our illustrious editor. The past seven months have seen the diligent perpetuation of the world's longest continuous bridge game, happy birthday celebrations with toilette-papered offices, periodic panics over the budget, running for a dictionary before reading any of Kerry's copy and keeping our editor happy by getting sections in on time! But most of all they have seen the thrills of receiving long awaited blueprints and the anticipation of finishing Utonian '67. ¦ >-''.¦ ¦¦:.¦.';¦¦'. ¦ ¦¦¦¦;"';¦¦ • Dick Harmston Associate Editor Lee Burnham Business Manager Barbara Leavitt Associate Business Manager 81 |
