Smith Doug Washburn Sigma Pi Pi Chapter founded: Vincennes, Indiana, 1897 University of Utah, 1920 Sigma Pi has added a host of new traditions to its list of activities this year. We have formed a little sister's group known as the Athenians which will serve as an able auxiliary to the chapter. The celebration of the First Annual Pi Night for Sorority Pledges was a great success, and it will be continued in the future. On the list of old observances are such activities as the Baby Orchid Queen Selection, the Orchid Queen Dinner, the Founder's Day Dinner and the Spring Formal. Not to be forgotten is the annual Pajamarino, Happening Party and Officer's party. The year has been one of growth and exciiement for all concerned. It has been a year following our tradition of bigger and better things for the Sigma Pi chapter here at the University. 'The 'S' is for the Sigma, the 'P' for P-l, Pi." M. J.
