Show During the Thanksgiving weekend of 1965 Marsha was selected attendant to Utah's Dairy Princess, Ruth Thompson. Together with Adele Ward, another attendant, Ruth and Marsha spent the following year representing the State Dairy Association in various publicity programs. Starting in June, the three girls appeared several times on television, over the radio and in the newspapers with other area personalities to push milk products. Then during August they went on tour to high schools throughout the state. Marsha loved the experiences she had meeting people and speaking in public. Asked if she would do it over again, she replied, "Any other contest, no, but I would like to repeat this one because we did so many things." Marsha this year is Greek editor of the Utonian. Selected by the editor last spring because of her experience and enthusiasm, she is required to make contact and work with every fraternity and sorority on campus. She has a magnetic personality, one which at times can burst with a childlike glee and one which can soon be at ease with strangers. Hence her selection to work with one of the most dynamic groups of people at the U. Marsha is a WRA officer and spends time every week participating in women's sports. This coming spring she hopes to try out for Song Leaders. Part of the reason for her yearbook work was to get a change from athletics. Much of Marsha's work in the Utonian office consists ofsorting and labeling pictures, which she does (above) as others play bridge.
