Show CAFFEY (Center) CARMAN (Tackle) to penetrate the Crimson forward wall whenever danger threatened, and this, combined with the offensive play of the Redskins, meant the game. Coach Armstrong expressed pleasure after the contest with the apparent development of a fast forward passing combination, with Ralph Goodwin, stellar halfback, on the passing end, and Captain Spider Morris on the receiving end of the combine. These two men got away with several ground-gaining attacks during the South Dakota game, and it was expected that they would function even better later in the year. An exchange of kicks, followed by a pass to Morris, paved the way for Utah's lone touchdown. After Howells' attempted dropkick failed, Taufer blocked Hob-litt's pass, the Crimson end recovering on the 17-yard line. Snarr hit left guard for three yards and Pembroke carried the ball through right guard to the two-yard mark. Howells made a yard on two plays and Pembroke crashed over for a touchdown. Howells kicked goal. Two field goals by Howells were responsible for the remaining six points.
