Note |
The University of Utah has made former and current yearbooks from various campus entities available in print and via its digital library archive. These documents contain facts and milestones about the history of the University of Utah. In some cases, these publications contain insensitive and offensive language and imagery that does not represent the views or values of the University of Utah. Insensitive and offensive portrayals of race and gender were wrong at the time these publications were originally printed, and they are wrong today. The yearbooks are presented as they were originally created and have not been edited or censored-to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices and biases never existed. - July 2019 |

Show I*i»ig:iw.it>i»>ici*:ie|giwigiei»ieicieic BOULDER GAME DEFINITE indication that Utah had a really great football team for the 1926 season was given Crimson fans when the Utes traveled to the home of the Silver and Gold, traditional rival of the Redskins, and returned with Colorado's scalp to the tune of 37-3. Eleven determined Redskins took the field against the Boulder team, and with "Bust Boulder" written on every face, these men proceeded to "bust" their rivals, and to "bust" them hard. The worst beating that Colorado had suffered since 1919 greeted the Centennial state boosters as Ike Armstrong's squad trotted off the field after the final gun had sounded, and it was a second string squad at that. Colorado never had a chance. From the first whistle until the last the crimson-clad warriors of Utah outplayed, outfought, and out-generaled the Silver and Gold *Howells drives through for a good gain.
