The final score of 13 to 0 just about indicates the difference between the two teams, and the showing of the Utes was justly pleasing to Coach Ike J. Armstrong, who considered the Coyotes a worthy and strong foe for the Crimson warriors in the opener. Although the Utes failed to display the driving power so characteristic of their backfield work later in the season, still the smashing tactics of Jack Howells gave indication of the potential energy that experience later developed in the Ute star.
