Show THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION MONG the more recent accom-__ _ plishments of the School of * Education is the establishment of a Department of Social Education. It is the purpose of this department to • study all phases of character and social education. In addition to general courses in Character Education, courses in Juvenile Delinquency and Case Work in the Schools have been taught in the regular school year, in the summer session, and in extension. In the Departments of Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Education Administration increasing attention in recent years has been given to educational measurements through achievement tests. To insure better preparation of all students in psychological and educational measurements, the School of Education Faculty has recommended hat a separate course m elementary statistics be provided in the di vis ion tf Educa.
