Show £ U.&.U.U. The ASUU Dance Committee worked all year planning dances that students would enjoy. Dances celebrating holidays, such as the "Black Cat Stomp", "Santa's Shuffle", and Columbus Day dance, were held in the Union Building. Clever decorations and good music added to the fun. Other dances sponsored by the group were "Autumn Accent", the biggest dance of the year; Policeman's Ball", and the "Hangover Hop", held on January 4. Members of the dance committee included Dee Curtis, Mary Hansen, Carol Dee Stuard, Dorene Savage, Lois Moss, Tom Robinson (chairman), Virginia Welling, Jeanne Amott, Mary Lynn Hepner, Loraine McNair, Connie Clayton, Nancy Dame, Bob Bennion, Robert Yates, David Noall, Glen Slight, Max Ingalls, Jack Rose, Jerry Woodmansee, Stewart Newbold, Bill Strange. Plaid coats and mellow music set the mood. Artistic shadows were cast by autumn trees. Everyone enjoyed ASUU dances. Fun prevailed as Utes glided around the floor. 153 |
