Description (1888 I) The twenty-eighth legislature in 1888 passed an act which formed a committee to compile all public acts, laws and resolutions in force in the territory. The compilation was to be systematically arranged, substantially bound, with marginal notes and proper index. The two volumes are arranged in parts, chapters, consecutively numbered paragraphs which are summarized at the beginning of each chapter, and sections. The index to Volume I is substantial and references page numbers. A general index covering both volumes is published in Volume II. A separate session law volume was published for 1888.

Description bear, the place, day and hour of sale, and that bids will be purchase. chase of said bonds, or any part thereof, to the highest sold for less than their face, or par value, and the accrued interest at the time of their disposal; Provided, That said loan commissioners shall have the right to reject any and all bids and, Provided further, That they may refuse to make any award unless sufficient security shall be furnished by the bid- c™i«»de § 2001. s 6. When a sale of said bonds or any of them the necessary engraved bonds as in this act provided, and any the provisions of this act, shall be paid out of the general fund of said Territory, upon the order of the Territorial auditor, is hereby appropriated oat of said funds. They shall from b^i<,i8$a* tiine to time after 8'gning said bonds, deliver them to the ^trcaeurtr1 Territorial treasurer, taking his receipt therefor and charge him therewith; before the issuance of any such bonds the said treasurer shall give to the Territory of Utah an additional IJSa! ltlon hundred and fifty thousand dollars, which bond shall be approved by the Governor and deposited and filed with the secretary of the Territory, and recorded by him in a book to be ' kept for that purpose. And the said treasurer shall stand charged upon his official bond for the faithful performance of treasurer for the amount of interest which shall fall due on . the first day of January and July of each year, which said interest warrant shall be drawn at least one month previous to.
