Description (1888 I) The twenty-eighth legislature in 1888 passed an act which formed a committee to compile all public acts, laws and resolutions in force in the territory. The compilation was to be systematically arranged, substantially bound, with marginal notes and proper index. The two volumes are arranged in parts, chapters, consecutively numbered paragraphs which are summarized at the beginning of each chapter, and sections. The index to Volume I is substantial and references page numbers. A general index covering both volumes is published in Volume II. A separate session law volume was published for 1888.

Description shall be no longer subject to the jurisdiction of said any city, praying for the disincorporation of said city, it shall be the duty of said council to sumbit such question to the electors of said city at the next general municipal election, published in said city at least once a week for a period of four successive weeks prior to such election, or if no paper be city, shall not be submitted at any election unless the obligations and liabilities of such city have been fully met and provided for. Suoh notiises shall distinctly state the proposition electors shall be notified thereby to vote upon such proposition by placing upon their ballots the wordi "for disincorporation" or "against disincorporation." The election shall be nanner as provided by law. 1810. s 2. If three-fourths of the votes cast n shall be "for disincorporation" the corpora t such city shall be ended, and the officers elec 1810. s 2. If three-fo y , elected shall to have expired.
