Also, a large portio~ of • Leas~e oembers are emplvyed in part- and full-time jobs which decrease the amount of time they can dev~te to the League. Participatio n levels araotig most League members have decreased in recertt years, according to League.members, with relatively few leaders assuming an overwhelmingly large share of the respo~sibil ity for League activities. Why is the average League raember in a rather restricted range of age, educational background, an economic status? Perhaps many of us could do a better job of com~u~icating the work of the League both within and outside of our organization. Conti~uing goals of Public Relations are to inform others about all the excitin~ a~d intere~ting issues in \lhich we are i~volved, as well as to gain merabers from a 11 populations of adult women.
