Minutes of the special meeting of the Board of Regents of the University of Utah, held September 24, 1927, at 1: 00 p.n. in the office of Regent James W. Wade, Walker Bank Building, Salt Lake City, Utah. There were present: Chairmen anal, Regents Christensen, Reeenbeum, Wolfe, Wade and Dr. Enemas. Reference being made to the recent death of the wife of " Rasent Harold Goff, Regent welfe moved that the Secretary be an- structed to adérese a letter of condolence to Regent Goff. Ladies and Gentlemen: Your Committee on Buildings to whom was referred, with power to act, on September 12 the bids Opened an that date for the remodeling 0f the ole heating plant and for the electrical mark, be: leaVe ta report that they held a meeting on September 13th and eonetdered the hide, fifteen in number. One of the bidders, fir. Oscar Lunfiquist, came in and stated that he had made an error in his bid and desired to raise his bid 81, 000 00. It was found also that several of the bidders had fa1led ta deposit with their propa:ale the required check for 5% of the amount of their estimate.
