Show 395 Oil well drilled at French Seep located on the map as being about sixty- five miles south of the mouth of the Green River and about ten miles west of the junction of the Green River with the Colorado. A well drilled by the Phillips Company between Barrier Greek and Greenriver is located on the map as being about forty- five miles south of the town of Greenriver and about three miles west of the Green River. A well drilled by the Texas Company was located on the map as being about fifty miles south from the town of Greenriver and about ten or twelve miles west from the Green River. He states that tools and other drilling equipment were taken to these wells by automobile truck from Greenriver, Utah. So far as he knows, none of the material was taken down by way of the river. According to his recollection there were three or four wells drilled on Gibson Dome in the neighborhood of Indian Creek, about thirty miles south air line from Moab, Utah, and about ten or fifteen miles east from the Colorado River.
