Show current ( 1968) level of employment is considerably higher than the 1963 level. The current level of employment was assumed to hold to 1975. The trend hi wages paid in the Non- defense sector was extrapolated to 1975. Both projections were deflated to 1963 dollars. ( 4) Exports: Exports in the Retail Trades and Services sectors were based upon income projections for the Western States and the rest of the United States. Federal grants to the Higher Education sector were projected in terms of recent trends. Exports in Agriculture, Mining, and Manufacturing were tied to projected national demand in a recent publication by Clopper Almon [ 1], Exports in the Transportation sectors were then projected as a function of the total of the other exports.
