Show The output multiplier in Table 13 is the ratio of increased output to the projected increase in exports. Agriculture has the highest output multiplier and, as to be expected, it has a water intake coefficient ( measured in terms of either output or income) that is significantly higher than that of any of the other industry groups. The Retail Trade and Services groups ( about 60 per cent of the projected increase in exports in these groups would come from increased tourism) have output multipliers that are nearly as high as that for Agriculture, but they have very low water intake coefficients. Mining has the lowest output multiplier as well as some of lowest water coefficients. Water coefficients for the Manufacturing group, even though they were almost double those for Mining, are relatively low when compared to Agriculture.
